Slurping Locally: Croatia’s Oysters on GoNomad

Oysters from Mali Ston, Croatia

I like ’em fat. Especially when their juice drips after I open ’em up. I’m talking about Croatian oysters, and I miss ’em. GoNomad just published my piece, Slurping Locally: Enjoying Croatia’s Oysters and Estuaries, in which I take you to the Istrian peninsula and the southern Dalmatian region in search of a gastronomic specialty that has been cultivated in Croatia’s waters since the Roman times. Happy slurping!
