Travel Writing Olympics?

Konoba Didov San frogs' legs

My appetite for Croatian frogs’ legs has led to more than just a satisfied culinary curiosity. While Winter Olympic athletes are currently jockeying for medals in such sports as bobsledding and freestyle skiing, I scored a bronze medal in the 2013 North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA) awards for a piece I wrote about Croatian frogs’ legs for BBC Travel last summer. The complete list of winners can be found here. Congrats to all the winners!
